D.W “Bama” Stewart - I’m goin’ home

I’m going back to Birmingham tomorrow for a short visit (but also to do some work). The night before I go back I’m like a kid on Christmas Eve, I just want to be on that train already and en route to see my dog. 

This is a great song from Alan Lomax’s recordings of ‘The land where blues began’. This is the only song of D.W Stewart’s that I know of and I’m not comparing our lives at all but it’s a really awesome song and as the title says; “I’m going home”.
